The first of the Contemporary Politics Seminars that we co-organize with Boğaziçi University Human Development Center was organised on November 13, 2019 at Boğaziçi University.

Academics Assoc. Prof. Evren Balta and Soli Özel participated as guest speakers of the seminar, which was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Zeynep Kadirbeyoğlu from Boğaziçi University, Department of Political Science and International Relations.

In the seminar, populism that has lately become a prominent political phenomenon in various parts of the world was discussed. The seminar, where US elections in 2020 and the effect of populism in the elections were discussed, continued with the Q&A session.
